Follow these simple steps to set up your new Trézor hardware wallet and begin securing your cryptocurrency assets.

Using the included USB cable, connect your Trézor device to your computer or mobile device. The screen should light up automatically.

Download and install Trézor Bridge from our official website to enable communication between your device and web browser.

Choose "Create new wallet" if this is your first device, or "Recover wallet" if you're restoring from a backup.

Create a secure PIN (between 4-9 digits) that will be required to access your device. This adds an extra layer of security.

Your device will generate a 12, 18, or 24-word recovery phrase. Write this down on the included recovery card and store it securely.

Important: Never store your recovery seed digitally. Keep it offline and in a safe place.

Your device will ask you to verify some words from your recovery phrase to ensure you've recorded it correctly.

If available, install the latest firmware updates to ensure you have the most secure version of the Trézor software.
